Blue Tansy essential oil is known for its deep blue colour resembling the midnight sky. Though must not be confused with common Tansy which has high levels of thujone, a toxic enzyme. Blue Tansy’s fresh sweet scent is part of its allure and must be distinguished. This essential oil contains chamazulene which gives its colour. Blue Tansy comes from a family of chamomiles and hence shares lots of similarities. It is also referred to as “Moroccan Blue Chamomile.”
