Frankincense Oil (Boswellia carterii) is distilled from the olibanum gum resin that is imported from Somalia. This is a small deciduous tree with dried resinous sap. Frankincense Oil is distilled here in England to bring you a high-quality oil. This gum is added to agitated boiling water and distilled for 4 to 6 hours depending on its yield. Further on in the process, Frankincense Oil is condensed and collected in a glass separator. The condensed water returns back for cohobation distillation Frankincense Oil has a spicy earth scent with citrus undernotes.
